Similarities between Tim Burton Films

The similarities between most of Tim Burton’s films are the genre, colour contrasts, cast members and character rolls. The colour contrasts are that he uses dark and bright colours freely and boldly to demonstrate, clearly, ‘bad’ settings and ‘good’ settings. By using overly bright colours we can tell a clear difference between the good and the bad people and settings. The camera light is generally darker when representing the bad side or gothic sides whereas the camera light is generally more vibrant and bright to represent the good sides and people. The cast members are similar because he almost always has Johnny Depp starring in his films. Tim Burton almost always has unexpected twists, in the end. And generally his films are quite gothic.
